Playland
Hey yo~~~/
Knowing very well that my Xanga has taken a different twist...I decided to post up what I need to do here at Live Journal...Basically, this is my own personal journal entry as well (it isn't really meant for the public)
I always wanted to talk about Playland because it was really fun going on the rides with my good buddy Victor...At first, I never thought it will be a go but I managed to fork up enough money to get cheap tickets and get on on all the fun...
I didn't take the van going to Playland instead, I took Vic's car because I had problems with my parents vehicle...They needed my own...erm, Vic was generous to not allow me to pay him back for the gas...
We went there and had a blast on all the rides...The first one was kinda whacked because I felt like I was about to throw up...Its only the first ride!!
Though it has been almost four years since I went to Playland, I am so anxious to go on all the rides...To think, I will grow out of it...I didn't unfortunately...I believe I became more braver on the more intense rides like the roller coaster...There were times where me and Vic literally stood up on our seats from the roller coaster because there was a lot of adrenaline when doing that...Of course, we had our hands raised up in the air...
We ate at White Spot (I love White Spot) and headed over to the golf area...We didn't want to go on rides and barf out all the food we ate:-P...The golf area was one of my favorite places to go to in Playland because it was a more of a relieving place where you can relax and enjoy yourself...
The best places at the golf area were two rounds with the names cliff-hanger and the chapel...The only reason the places were the best is because there was nothing about the level that indicate that it was such a cliff-hanger and a chapel...Practically, all the levels had some sort of building or unique thing to it...
It was pretty kewl in the end because me and Vic were literally tied because we ended up with the same amount of shots in the end...
We also went to the haunted house...I had a feeling that was going to savor this one because it was the moment where I get freaked out of my shoes...I felt the excitement in going in there but knowing the experience was heart pumping, I knew that when I'm there...I felt the urge to get the hell away...I'm glad that Vic was there...Not to mention taking point, haha...If I took the lead, I would be soo freakin scared...
I remember the time when it was halloween that there is bound to be scares when you go into the haunted house...I had that experience in one of them and the surprises were almost no different in Playland...The only exception is that in Playland they don't touch you whereas in the haunted house in the mall they did...
Thank God, I had Vic to be the brave point man...
We joked about a lot of things and made fun of a lot of rides...But one of the best things involving Playland was the girls we checked out...There was this kewt girl in a small food booth...She was really pretty...I'm actually surprised that Vic noticed and tells me this because in the past, we never really talked about stuff like this...Oh how the days go by when you grow up into maturity...
Oh yeah...one more thing...We saw Jazz working at Playland...Oddly enough, he seems different...Grown a lot of weight?? Yepperz...How can a smart guy still work at Playland?? Aren't you aiming for a higher job??
Anyways, I forgot the major specifics but I do remember going to this place where members of my church shouldn't go into...The only reason that I went to this place is that we got a free ticket to get free food in that place...It was funny that this place seem like a 'pub' because there was one guy who was drunk to his wits...I think I remember the words coming out of his mouth, "Honey, I'll drive you home...*hic*..." What a nut!!
A bunch of horse shows that was viewing and me and Vic were guessing on who will win the derby race...we both made wise choices because the horses we picked managed to claim the victory...I'm not a betting man but if I was, I'd win a heap load of cash because the horses we pick didn't even stood a chance since the odds were high up...
When Playland was over, we high tailed over to the theatres and watched War of the Worlds starring Tom Cruise and Robbie...Man, I have a lot to talk about this movie and the conversation me and Vic were talking about...But I guess we both should leave that in our own thoughts...The only thing I could say is that I'm surprised how Tom managed to survive many close calls...That seems more hard to believe than the aliens invading earth!!
Another one that I remember is one word that sums up the whole movie...Consider it the fall of aliens..."bacteria" Pffft...
Anyway...This day was really worth somehting and I'm glad I enjoyed my fun with Vic...It might be awhile before we do this kind of fun again...*sighs*...I need more time outside...
This day at Playland and the theatres occurred on July 2'2005
